Left London at 16:00 while the rain was pouring down. Fortunately no rain on the M25 so the drive to Harwich dried out my clothes. The check-in for the ferry opened at 19:30 and the process was swift. In the queue while waiting for boarding, I met several other motorcycle "adventurers" starting their touring journeys through Europe. After a further hour and 15 minute wait the boarding started at 20:45. Once through passport control, I drove onto the ferry, parked and secured the bike took my overnight luggage and went to my room. Room 10151 was an outside room with a view over the ocean.
The ferry departed at 23:15 as I called it a day.
