The rain came down from about 16:00 the previous day all through the night and the world was wet. The rain stopped but it there was still loads of low hanging clouds when we departed at 10:00 for the Applecross Pass - Bealach na Bà is a historic pass through the mountains of the Applecross peninsula, in Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands—and the name of a famous twisting, single-track mountain road through the pass and mountains.
pInstead of heading back to Inverness we took a more scenic route via Plockton and made a quick turn on the Isle of Skye before we stopped at the beautiful Eilean Donan Castle.
Passing over Fort Augustus again into the Spye side of Scotland and to Loch Alvie in Cairngorms National Park where we checked in for our last night on tour.
