Saturday morning 07:00 and I am on the road heading East from loas veagas towards Lake Mead and the Hoover dam.
Crossing over the Collorado river from nevada into Arisona I headed South-East to Kingman and then East onto the historic Route 66 towards Seligman. Real Marican food (Hamburger :-) ) for lunch at Seligman before heading back to Kingman on the Interstate Route 40. Then on the 68 to Bullhead City where I crossed the Colorado river back into Nevada and headed North on the 95 back to Las Vegas arriving at the hotel at 16:15.
Late Friday afternoon. After renting the Harley I left from Fairfield Inn hotel for one of the most scenic routes NW of Las Vegas - Red Rock Canyon.
Spectacular view of rough rock formations and hills. I was just in time to experience the sunset in the Nevada desert. The whole sky, a full 360 degrees around just lit up with deep purple, red and orange colours. As the sun set in the West the moon rose in the East making for one of the nest sunsets I have experienced in the past seven years.
